Physicians Formula Nude Wear Powder

Welcome to my blog where I like to share my love of all things pretty and girly. In this post I will examine the Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Powder. Like the Nude Wear Blush the powder claims to have perfecting nude pigments with beautiful bare skin effect and skin glowing finish.

This packaging, while bulky, is super cute and boasts an adorable rose gold bow. The back side of the packaging includes a flat brush and a mirror. The front has a lovely see through window so that you can easily identify the contents. Inside the package is 0.24 oz of beautiful, soft, natural powder.

The beauty of this powder is that it has a beautiful natural glow to it. There is nothing matte or flat about this powder. With that being said, if you are looking for a mattifying powder or an anti-shine powder then this is not the powder for you. However, if you have dry skin or are looking to add a little luminosity to your face, then look no further. This powder has a beautiful finish that mimics natural healthy skin.

This powder doesn't offer any real coverage but provides a beautiful finish to foundation or BB cream. Physicians Formula added a strange glittery overlay to the 'Nude Wear' letters on the top of this powder. This overspray vanishes the first time you use this powder. The four different shades blend together to make a lovely fair to light powder suitable for most fair skinned girls. The lightest shade makes a beautiful highlight shade as well.

Of course, you cannot tell but when applied lightly this powder provides a lovely, natural finish to any look. Even if you use a heavy hand this powder does not tend toward cakey. Instead it provides a beautiful, luminous finish. Since I have dry skin I find this powder works very well for me. I find that certain foundations, such as the CoverGirl Outlast 3 in 1 Foundation is a bit too matte for my dry skin. This powder provides some light and dimension that matte foundations seem to lack. However, this powder when mixed with an luminous foundation, such as L'Oreal Lumi, can be a bit too much glowy goodness.

I always find beauty in things that are odd and imperfect, they are much more interesting.
